Under the WI Constitution, WIs ‘may combine the offices of Treasurer and Secretary or the offices of Treasurer and Vice President if the Federation Board of Trustees consents. No other office may be combined’.
How to appoint the Vice President
The Committee appoints the Vice President at its first meeting after the Annual Meeting.
What does the role involve?
A Vice President may take on specific responsibilities where delegated to – such as welcoming and looking after new members. She should also be encouraged to chair both a Committee and WI meeting during her term of office.
