Inspiring Women Through Words
Celebrating 50 years of Romsey WI.
A one-day event celebrating women writers from 17th to 21st centuries
Crosfield Hall is near the centre of Romsey and accessible by train and bus. There is limited parking at the venue.
Romsey is a historic and vibrant town with an Abbey, a lively town square and shops.
The theme for the day is ‘ Inspiring women with words’ and we will celebrate the power of language and the influence of the written word through the centuries, drawing on the work of both female and male authors.
We have the support of Goldfinch Bookshop of Alton providing a variety of literature from both featured authors as well as others.
The programme offers the chance to explore Romsey and savour the delights of local hospitality venues.
Refreshment will be included. This will be a varity of hot drinks, cakes and biscuits. We will also be catering for a range of dietary preferences
