The Hampshire Team at the Triennial in Hotsprings

The Sub Committee is made up of Ros Cooper (Chairman), Sue Atrill, Kyrene
Beames, Jean Huggett and Gillian Thomas.
Hampshire members can now support the chosen Project, for the Woman of the
Third Millennium in Romania, to support children into further education and to help
women in a very undeveloped area to learn skills to earn money to support their
families. So far over £1000 has been donated by Hampshire WIs and this is
wonderful. To add to this total, please send your cheque, payable to ACWW, to WI
House. Thank you for your support.
The ACWW Day - Here - Now - The Future was a great success and those who
attended will certainly have gone back to their WIs with much more information on
ACWW.
Following delays due to the Icelandic volcanic dust problems, a good time was had
in Arkansas, even if most of the Triennial Conference had happened.
The next big ACWW Conference will be in Dublin from 4 - 8 April 2011. Registration
will start in September, please send a request for a booking form, for the attention
of the ACWW Sub Committee, c/o WI House, if you are considering attending this
event.
We will be arranging a chance to meet May Kidd, the newly elected World President
of ACWW at the end of April 2011. More details soon.
If your WI would like a speaker to talk about ACWW, please send in your request to
the committee c/o WI House. All we ask is for travel costs and a donation to ACWW.
