Welcome to our programme for 2012

	Welcome to the Sherfield-on-Loddon Web page for the year 2012. As you are 'looking in on us' we hope you will find something of interest to you in our varied programme of events. We meet in the village hall at 2.00p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month.
	Last year was a very good year ending with more members than we started with. We sincerely hope that our new members have found their first visits friendly and rewarding to them.
	We have started this year with one of the two changes to our usual meeting time. The first being an enjoyable lunch time meeting for soup and sandwiches (this enables all members to attend and go home in daylight) our February meeting starts again at 12.00 at BCOT where we enjoy our Annual Lunch and come back to the village hall to finish off!
	We have a few things going on during each month- Skittles,Craft,Mah Jong,Scrabble and walking which are 'extra' to the meeting. We also ebjoy a few trips each year as well as theatre visits. We try to offer something for everyone and welcome new members.
	Hampshire Federation also offer many varied activites in topics ranging from crafts to science and well-being. These are usually well supported by our members. It is nice to say we also double up and share cars as much as possible for these events. This of course helps with friendship bonding as well as helping the environment.
	We have a few things planned for 2012 which I will list below- more to follow once the new committee has settled in! Do come and join us if you are interested!

January 4th. Early Meeting at 12.00noon for Soup and Sarnies
followed by an 'in house' Bring and Buy.
February 8th. Annual Lunch at BCOT in Basingstoke followed by a meeting in the village hall.
March 7th. Craft Crazy Recycler- Mrs. M.Forbes.
April 4th. We celebrate another birthday with a party and a talk by Mr.J.Smith- Beyond Candleford Green.
May 2nd. Resolutions and Social Afternoon.

After each meeting we enjoy a delicious tea and time to sit and socialise. New members are always welcome. Perhaps you are new to the area or just visiting or simply want something new! Do come and join us!
