Olivers Battery

Olivers Battery meets for eleven meetings a year, monthly except August, when we will be exploring Old Portsmouth; enjoying croquet & a cream tea and then off to Highgrove! |

Meetings are in St Marks Church, starting at 7.45 on the third Tuesday evening. |

We are part of the Winchester Group of WIs and we enjoy attending the two meetings a year as well as the other events organised through the Group. As a member, you also have the opportunity to enjoy the many events organised by the Hampshire Federation. |
|
We have enjoyed learning jewellery making and this will be repeated in October. We have also had a cookery masterclass in cake making and plan other demonstrations on enriched doughs and boning a bird - in time for Christmas. |

The Annual Plant Sale was most successful on a very cold and windy Bank Holiday but we were delighted to see so many people attend and support us. We also included a cake sale, which was very popular and of course the hot coffee and cake was a winner. |
