North Baddesley W.I.

About our W.I.

North Baddesley W.I. was formed in 1946 and has moved location several times within the local area. the latest of these moves was to the Village Hall, Botley Road in April 2007.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 1.45 for a 2pm start

In addition to the monthly meeting there are various small group activities.

The Craft Group, which can cover most aspects in the vast field of creative work.

The Reading group where a set book is read by all and then discussed. Due to its popularity a second group has now been formed. The Play Reading Group continues to flourish and there is now also a Theatre Club arranging visits to local and London Theatres.

The Darts Players meet in a local hostelry and even some games end without resorting to 'double one'.

Once a month the Walking Group venture into the surrounding countryside for short walks, always ending with lunch at a convenient pub.

A Fun Quiz is held once a month. A Noisy Games afternoon is also held once a month.

Weekly cinema visits, swimming once a week, trips to London every so often and a Luncheon Club based at Eastleigh Tech.

A French conversation group meets once a month.

We are always ready to start new things and welcome anyone who reads this page to join us.
