All about our WI

Welcome to the Medstead WI web site.

We like to extend a warm welcome to visitors and new members, so please come along and enjoy an afternoon with us.

Medstead WI, which was started in 1918, is a friendly, lively and enthusiastic WI with over 60 members.

We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 2pm in Medstead Village Hall.

In addition to our monthly meetings we have a full programme of events which we hope offers something for everyone.

We have a monthly walking group made up of members, husbands, friends, and dogs who not only enjoy the lovely Hampshire countryside but the pub lunch waiting at the end!

We also have a 'Single Ladies Sunday Lunch' group who meet monthly - so don't be on your own again on a Sunday!

The quilting and craft group meet monthly to learn new skills or finish one they made earlier!

We have our own water babies who meet weekly in Alton Sports Centre and notch up aquatic miles.

We love to cater for groups who would like a tea, lunch or supper for their coach outings.

Members also take part in many of the County events, both educational and sociable.

Don't miss out on the fun and friendship - come and join us!
There is never a dull moment when you belong to Medstead WI!
