Lovedean is part of the Purbrook Group of WIs

Lovedean WI was founded in 1957. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and democratically run group with nearly sixty members and a wide variety of interests and talents!

The group meets at 7.30 pm on the second Tuesday of each month (except August) in Lovedean Village hall. The hall in Lovedean Lane has disabled access and excellent facilities including two halls and a well equipped kitchen.

The regular meeting usually includes a speaker or demonstration, a competition, raffle, ‘bring and buy stall’ and refreshments.

Lovedean WI has a thriving craft group which meets on the third Tuesday of the month during the winter. A recently formed Book Club is another well supported addition to our regular activities.

Apart from our regular activities we organise a varied programme of other events such as theatre trips, summer walks, social evenings and trips to county events.
