Welcome to Holbrook W.I.

we are coming to the end of the year and have had a very enjoyable time. All our meetings and events have been well supported and seats for all the trips we had planned taken. Currently we are preparing for a holiday in Reims at the end of October, a trip to the Christmas Market in Bath and the Autumn Council Meeting. Our Annual Meeting in November will hopefully see new members for our committee, plus a new President and Secretary. The Christmas Party planned for our December meeting will no doubt be as well attended as usual. We meet on the third Monday each month at HEDCA, Coombe Road Gosport at 7.30pm. Our meetings include a competition, usually linked to the subject being covered by our speaker, a flower of the month competition and refreshments. We award a bursary to Denman College every two years, any member can enter the draw for this. A walk is held on second Thursday each month, meeting in the carpark at Lee-on-the-Solent at 9am. |
