We are now a large group with over 100 members, but our ladies are still very friendly and we meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month in the 2000 Centre, Hedge End at 7.30 p.m. Doors open at 6.45 p.m. |

Activities held each month include groups for craft, beading and walking and discussion groups. we are always open to suggestions for yet more activities if they are viable!! |

Our social activities include coach trips throughout the year, one of which may be a mystery tour and a weekend trip away for another. These are always exciting and offer education, culture and some fun. Also, during the year we try to fit in a Skittles Evening and at least once a year, we have an activity day which may include making crafty items, or talks and demonstrations by specific organisations. We always enjoy having a Spring Buffet and Christmas Meal each year which are always well attended. With the changeover of year end, we have only included the first five months in this 2012 programme. Further details of the full year (June 2012 to May 2013) will be submitted later. |

Our Community Projects involve our ladies knitting jumpers for Zimbabwee, blankets and hats for the Maternity Services at Southampton and Winchester. Hats and blankets are also given to the Samaritans Purse Charity. Also, knitted teddies for the Teddies for Tragedies Charity. Supplies of small packages of stationery are sent to Swaziland for distribution by the local WI there to outlying schools. We collect voluntary donations of toiletries for Innovations - a charity helping people to live in their own homes with help and donations of animal foods for the local Blue Cross. |
