Hatch Grange West End

About our WI

	Hatch Grange WI was formed in 1970, and celebrates a Birthday each March. Currently there are 70 members enjoying the companionship of shared interests together with a well planned programme and outings.
	Meetings are held at 7.30pm on the third Wednesday of each month in the Main Hall at the Parish Centre, Chapel Road, West End, Southampton, SO30 3FE. Members gather together to hear speakers on a wide variety of subjects.
	This WI has a vibrant Craft Club, meeting on the first Monday of each month, taking pleasure in learning new skills and producing creative work. Smaller groups of members meet monthly at various venues to enjoy Poetry,Reading,Art and Scrabble. If a little exercise is called for, the Badminton Club meets each Wednesday morning; and a programme of long and short walks, usually on Saturdays, is a popular feature.
	A warm welcome is always extended to new and potential members and visitors.

	2010 is our 40th Anniversary year and the following special events have been arranged in addition to our regular programme: Friday 11th June 7.00pm ROVING CHEESE & WINE EVENING AT THREE VENUES. Wednesday 29th September 7.00pm for 7.30pm ANNIVERSARY DINNER (members only) at the Parish Centre, West End. And to end our celebratory year on 16th February 2011, SHELLEY LOZANO - Belly Dancer. During our 40th year we plan to fill 40 shoeboxes for disadvantaged children.
