Crookham Village W.I.

All about our W.I.

Thank you for taking an interest in our web site. We are always
glad to welcome visitors and new members; do please come along and enjoy a sociable evening with us.

We are a friendly, lively and enthusiastic bunch of 25 members at present, meeting in our WI Hall on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 7.45pm. Crookham Village is a pretty village dating back to 1200 ad. and situated by the Basingstoke Canal, a mile away from Fleet.

Our WI started in 1951 and has ever since been a strong asset to the local community through the use of our Hall.
Mothers & Toddlers Group, Horticultural Society, Bridge Group and Beekeeping society and the Parish Council meet there regularly.

We are part of the Hart Group of WIs and we actively support the County and National Federation events. Apart from the evening meetings, we also have extra activities. We also like to organise various outings on coaches, like "untouristic" parts of London, in conjunction with other local WIs.
Have a look at our varied programme for 2010.

Do come and visit us and you will get more than a warm welcome and a cup of tea.....
