Chilbolton WI came into being in 1917 and is still going strong. It is one of the 8 WI's in the 'DANEBURY GROUP' of Hampshire Womens' Institutes. This year we are hosting the Autumn Meeting here in the Village hall as recorded in our Programme. Our current membership is 37. We are a lively WI hold Quiz nights and Bowling events, Country Walks, Seasonal Soup and Ploughmans Lunches and Theatre Visits. Members knit jumpers for the children of Zimbabwe and contribute towards the contents of Crisis Centre boxes also the Andover Food bank- which we visited in 2011. We look forward to the varied topics of the Speakers booked for our Monthly Meetings. These are listed on our Programme for 2012 displayed below. Those with an asterisk are 'hands-on. The March offering is is an excellent dramatic production by a local professional partnership- definitely not to be missed. Does anything catch your eye? Please visit. We'd love to see you.
