Chilbolton WI comprises a friendly, outgoing and lively membership. This has been another enjoyable year for members involving theatre visits, a trip on the 'Watercress Line' at Alresford, Quiz nights, Bowling ,Country Walks, Soup Lunches and much more. We are pleased to report that 80 plus jumpers have been knitted for the children of Zimbabwe. These have resulted from the combined efforts of Chilbolton Horticultural Society, our villagers, our members plus family and friends of all. The money was raised for postage and this team work will continue into next year. Our programme for 2010 is below. We hope you like what you see. If any topic interests you why not come to our meeting that evening. We meet on the third Tuesday of each Month in the Village Hall, Eastman's Field off Drove Road Chilbolton. |
