Awbridge Evening WI


Welcome to Awbridge Evening WI. We have another varied and interesting programme this year. In March we are hoping that all be explained about the fascinating topic, hypnotherapy. "All Things Chinese" in April should have something to interest everyone and in June we have the chance to find that treasure in the attic at our mini antiques roadshow. Traditional American Rug Hooking in August might spark off memories of sitting in front of the fire on those cold winter nights before the days of central heating. We should get some tips for the future in September when we will learn how to protect our homes from the cost of care. In October we will be treated to an insight about Life Below Decks on the Royal Yacht, very appropriate for the Diamond Jubilee year. The Walking Group meets on alternate Fridays (weather permitting) and the Book Club monthly on an evening to suit. Meetings are on the second Thursday monthly (excepting January) at 7-30pm in Awbridge Village Hall, and we are always pleased to see new members and visitors.
