January - December 2010 Welcome to the Gosport WI web page. We are an active group with 50 members of various ages and a wide range of interests. We warmly welcome visitors and new members to both our meetings and other activities. |

Regular monthly meetings take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except August) 8.00 p.m. at the Methodist Church Hall, Stoke Road, Gosport. We invite a wide range of speakers throughout the year to inform and entertain us as well as holding demonstrations and the opportunity to participate in some new activities. |

In addition to our monthly meetings we have a craft group, organise trips & visits, social We are always looking for new ideas from members and potential members to give us the widest appeal to local women. |
|
We are part of the Haven Group and have links with 7 other WI's with contact to local, county and national venues and form part of the Hampshire Federation. Haven Group organises two group meetings and a Carol Service every year and arranges Group outings. Group meetings provide the opportunity to see speakers beyond the means of an individual WI group. |

An opportunity to discuss matters of local and national importance and have your views put to the government, via the WI. |

You will have the opportunity to attend County courses covering every imaginable subject, sport, hobby and craft. |

A chance to win a Bursary for a course at Denman, the WI National College. |
