Bramley WI

Welcome to the Bramley WI

Bramley W.I. was formed in 1919 and was originally an afternoon Institute. It folded for a few months in 1990 due to lack of officers but reformed as an evening Institute since so many members worked and now has nearly as many on the Committee as it has members. Bramley W.I. is fun loving and welcomes visitors be they young or old. The program is varied with speakers, demonstrations and social activities. There is an active drama group who enjoy entertaining not only sister Institutes at their Christmas and Birthday meetings but to some of the village's elderly and infirm. Bramley W.I. also undertakes village improvements for villagers, for example the Millennium Garden Project and an on going project for the village hall in the shape of an artistic collage.

The group meets at the Bramley Village Hall, which is wheelchair accessible with disabled parking area, ramps, and a disabled toilet.

If you are interested in finding out more about our group, please contact Linda Dove, our president (01256 882607). You will always be given a warm welcome.
