Ashurst W.I. was formed in 1962 and we have 39 members at the moment. As well as our monthly meetings we have pub lunches, theatre visits and outings most months. Our members also attend Group meetings, Council Meetings and anything else of interest. We have a Craft Group which organises entries for the New Forest Show. There are also small groups which meet for Beading Workshops, Knitting/Crochet sessions, a Cookery Group and a Darts Team. We meet at the Church Rooms, Deerleap Lane, Colbury, Southampton, SO40 7EH, at 7.30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, except August when we have a garden meeting.
