Station under the clock at 10.00. Travel to Bank underground to be at the Mansion House by 10.45.
11.00 Guided tour. 12.00 lunch and free time to visit other places of interest around St Pauls, City of
London Museum, Royal Exchange, Globe Theatre etc. Lots of restaurants/cafes and places to picnic.
1.45 on the dot at the Bank of England which is nearby. Not a guided tour, but advisers present, and
films to see. It has a magnificent musuem and stunning furniture. Finish about 4.00 in time to take in
a theatre or just go home.
The train times are too early for cheap tickets, for which we apoliogise, but we are restricted by the
arrival time at the Mansion House, and any later would not have made it possible to do this visit in the
day. We will wait a few minutes at Waterloo, but would you please tell us in advance if you are either
going to be a bit late there (not more than 10 mins) or are going to make you own way to the Mansion
House
