At mid-night on Saturday 03 July
there was a ladies only sponsored walk,
in aid of the local Countess of Brecknock Hospice,
which involved walking the streets of Andover.
Approx 280 women took part.
Some of us only did half the course,
although others completed the whole 13 miles.
Three of Abbotts Ann members took part
plus the daughter of one of them.BR>

"June was busting out all over" at Woolston & Sholing WI.
Members had raided their underwear drawers
to collect 4 bin-bags of their old bras
they weighed in at 31lbs!
These were donated to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
The bras are then sent to West Africa, where they are sold on the streets.
The women there are less likely to be raped if they are wearing a bra.
Anyone can donate their old bras
just put them in a bag marked "Bras"
& pop them in your local Air Ambulance recycling bin.
