on Southampton Common   Thruxton WI celebrated in style for their 90th Birthday Is this the first celebration cake with the new logo?  Lynne was delighted to meet Trish Cole, the new Chairman of Wiltshire and Sandra the Treasurer Both from Thruxton WI in Wiltshire Who came over the border to enjoy the party  Recently Upper Clatford WI held a Bee Lunch. This was to carry forward further the resolution SOS for Honey Bees. They decided to create a bee friendly garden in our village hall and to purchase a bee hive and bees. These will be looked after by Jim Stuart who is an enthusiastic bee keeper & will hopefuly teach some of us how to care for the bees and maybe produce Upper Clatford WI honey!!! The photograph is of the dedicated team of cooks who produced a three course bee lunch including honeydew melon and Dijon pork with honey.

 The recent coffee morning held by Locks Heath WI was well attended and great fun was had by all. A raffle and bring-and-buy raised £72.51 for ACWW.
 Compton & Shawford recently celebrated their 85th Birthday  Members of Horndean WI serving the community by providing homemade soup for a Lent Lunch at Blendworth Church Hall. They also did this at our February meeting for members. This was very successful and everyone enjoyed it.
